Chief Minister himself fed the cattle by cutting grass with the fodder machine

Raipur, 05 December 2020. Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel visited Gomharia today during a two-day visit to Jashpur and visited Gauthan. He visited Poultry, Goat rearing, Vermi compost, Donna, Pattal, Sandal making and Pre-fabricated bio gas plant under Govardhan Yojana in Gowthan run by various women self-help groups. The Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel purchased the Anusasa powder from the Anusasa collection center built by the light self-help group. She also bought soap made by another women’s group. The Chief Minister also witnessed the cultivation of vegetables being carried out by women of self-help groups in Gothan. He suggested to use the vegetables produced in Gothan in Anganwadi centers, mid-day meals and hostels operated in the district. He also found medicinal plants Sita Ashoka, kalpa tree, white pallas, in the Gothan complex Planted various medicinal plants like Shami. He said that in the coming time, the bark and fruits of these medicinal plants will be used in the treatment of various diseases. In Gauthan, the Chief Minister also visited the paradan and fodder cutting machine and cut grass from the machine itself and fed the animals green fodder.

 

Chief Minister  Baghel said that the ambitious Suraji Gram Yojana of the government and collective efforts of self-help groups will improve the rural economy and fulfill the dream of Mahatma Gandhi’s village Swaraj. The Chief Minister also inspected the Nadep Tank, Kotna, Para Machan located in Gauthan and encouraged the members and shepherds of the Gothan Committee to take good care of the animals.

 

The CM appreciated the biogas-made tea chutki in Gauthan, the scheme was appreciated by the
Chief Minister and other guests who took tea sips made using the fuel from the biogas plant built under the Govardhan Yojana under Swachh Bharat Mission (Gramin). Shri Amarjeet Bhagat, MLA Mr. Vinay Bhagat, Parliamentary Secretary and MLA Mr. Chintamani Maharaj, President of Chhattisgarh Mineral Development Corporation Mr. Girish Dewangan, Advisor to Chief Minister Mr. Vinod Verma, Jashpur MLA Mr. Vinay Bhagat were also present on the occasion.
