Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel made a plethora of gifts for the development of Kabirdham district.

Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel, as part of his state-wide meet-and-greet program, reached Kawardha assembly constituency in Kabirdham district today. During this, the Chief Minister directly interacted with the general public in Kawardha’s remote Vananchal village Jhalmala and Nagar Panchayat Sahaspur Lohara. The Chief Minister, in a direct interaction with the people in the meeting, included Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana, Debt Waiver Scheme, Swami Atmanand English Medium School, Godhan Nyay Yojana, Rajiv Gandhi Bhumiless Grameen Krishi Mazdoor Nyay Yojana, Chief Minister Suposhan Abhiyan, Took information and feedback about the implementation of other schemes including Mukhyamantri Haat-Bazar Yojna.

The Chief Minister, who reached Jhalmala for a meeting, prayed for the happiness and prosperity of the people of the state by offering prayers at the Shiva temple of Pitrahi. On reaching the meet-and-greet program at Jhalmala, the tribal dancers gave a grand welcome to the Chief Minister with a traditional folk dance. Chief Minister Shri Baghel started the meeting by offering prayers to Chhattisgarh Mahtari. Villagers welcomed Chief Minister Mr. Baghel by wearing a khumri. In the programs organized at Jhalmala and Sahaspur Lohara, Health Minister and Minister in-charge of the district, Shri T.S. Singhdeo, Forest Minister and Kawardha MLA Mr. Mohammad Akbar and Pandariya MLA Mrs. Mamta Chandrakar were also present.

Chief Minister Shri Baghel gave many gifts for the development of the district in the program organized at Sahaspur Lohara. Apart from opening a medical college in the district, he also started building a new Gram Panchayat building in Jhalmala, high school in village Jhalmala and boundary-wall construction in Kanya Ashram, from temple to Anganwadi building in village Jhalmala and from tower to high school building. Road construction, Swami Atmanand English Medium School in Rengakhar, Chilfi, Pondi and Nagar Panchayat Pipariya, Road construction from village Boirakchhara to Gandaikhurd, Road construction from Kawardha Podi main road to village Parasaha Gadaghat, High level bridge over Fok river in Kusumaghata to Boirkachhara road, Village Sahaspur Lohara Block Sahaspur Lohara Stone Bridge, Marpa Bridge Construction, Beautification of New Pond in Ward No. 09, Muktidham to Basinjhori Road and culvert construction in Ward 2-3, Announced upgradation of Muktidham in Ward 11. The Chief Minister also announced construction of road from Odiyakhurd to Kauhari road bridge-culvert from village Kholwa to village Kumhari Singhanpuri, construction of road from village Ghughari to village Marpa and construction of Ghatola reservoir for irrigation facility in 240 hectare area.
