Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel inspected the poultry commercial breeder / layer unit
Priya Dhivar, a member of Unnati Women’s Self-Help Group, told that in this breeder unit, R.I.R. Different types of chickens and chickens are being reared. Eggs are produced from them.
Priya told that RIR type hen gives about 200 eggs in a year whereas normal hens give 120 to 130 eggs in a year. Priya told that these eggs are sold in the market at the rate of Rs 14 per piece.
Priya told that these eggs are kept in the poultry egg incubator from which the chick comes out. And these chicks are sold in the poultry farm.
