Gahoi Bhavan has been built for the relatives of patients admitted in AIIMS to stay.
The new building has been built by Shri Gahoi Vaish Samaj Raipur in Tatibandh near AIIMS

Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel today inaugurated the newly constructed building constructed by Shrigahoi Vaishya Samaj, Raipur at Tatibandh near AIIMS in capital Raipur. Chief Minister Mr. Baghel while saluting national poet Maithilisharan Gupta on this occasion said that this building has been built by the society for the arrangement of stay of patients and their relatives during the treatment of patients in AIIMS. Shrigahoi Vaish Samaj Raipur has done this very commendable and pious work with service.
The Chief Minister said that I congratulate all of you for the inauguration of the newly constructed building. There are also discussions about the upliftment and development of the society in social buildings, dharamshalas, people of other societies will also get its benefit. This building will be very useful for patients coming from Chhattisgarh and other states outside Chhattisgarh. Many times patients have to stay for a long time for treatment, in such a way this building will solve the problem of waiting for the patients and their relatives and will provide a lot of relief to them. You will provide rooms for the patients of the hospital, this work will never be forgotten by the patients and their relatives.
The Chief Minister said that this work of the society is a high quality human service. On the demand of the society for the land for the social building in Naya Raipur, he said that any society which does not have land, is being given a plot of land for social works on payment of a fixed amount. We have also reduced the collector guideline by 30 percent. Mr. Baghel said that the land should be registered in the name of the society, assistance would be given to construct the building.
Urban Administration Minister Dr. Shivkumar Dahria presided over the programme. Member of Parliament Mr. Sunil Soni, Parliamentary Secretary Mr. Vikas Upadhyay, Chairman and MLA of Chhattisgarh Housing Board Mr. Kuldeep Juneja, MLA Mr. Brijmohan Agarwal, Raipur Mayor Mr. Ejaz Dhebar were also present as special guests.
President of Gahoi Samaj Mr. Ashok Bani said that this building with state-of-the-art facilities has been specially built for the relatives of the patients of AIIMS Raipur to stay. Secretary Mr. Sanjay Gupta and Treasurer Mr. Pankaj Saraogi told that people from different places of the society have gathered in the inauguration ceremony of the building.
