Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel at Rajiv Chowk in Pendra, former Prime Minister Late. Unveiled the statue of Shri Rajiv Gandhi
This statue has been installed at a cost of about two and a half lakh rupees. The demand of installing a statue of Rajiv Gandhi at the Chowk of Pendra residents was being made for a long time.
Chief Minister Mr. Baghel also paid tribute to the former Prime Minister by garlanding the statue.
He said that now the name of Rajiv Chowk of Pendra has become meaningful after the statue of Rajiv ji has been installed. People will always remember the contribution of late Rajiv Gandhi in the development of the country and will always be inspired to serve the country by this statue.
