Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel and Mrs. Priyanka Gandhi today released the booklets “Purkhati Papers” and “Tana Bana” at the Urban Bodies and Panchayati Raj Mahasammelan, Kanker. In Bastar, a booklet named “Purkhati Papers” (Part One) has been prepared by compiling the community forest rights forms issued to the area-wise tribal communities by documenting the beliefs prevalent in the oral traditions of the Gods and Goddesses. There is a compilation of Khasras preserved in “Purakhti Papers” (Part-II), in which the revenue records have been preserved by mentioning the names and area of Mataguri, Devguri in the Kaifiyat column of Khasra through Bhuiya.
It should be known that the social fabric is based on the traditions and beliefs of the tribal communities, the cultural customs
and various types of customs prevalent in the lives of the people of the major tribal communities living in the division, such as Gond, Halba, Bhatra, Dhurwa, Munda, Muria, Koya. Birth and death rituals and festivals. A booklet named Social Fabric based on various traditions and beliefs is being published by Bastar Area Tribal Development Authority, which is being released by the Chief Minister. The above booklet was released by the guests today.
