Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel urged the Central Government to release central share amount for construction of houses to 47,090 families found in the Socio-Economic Survey 2023 of the State Government, along with 6,99,439 families included in the existing permanent waiting list under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana in the state. Has requested.
In a letter written to the Prime Minister, the Chief Minister has informed that 6,99,439 families included in the permanent waiting list and 47,090 families found in the State Government’s Socio-Economic Survey 2023 will also be released by the State Government for the benefit of the housing scheme. The decision has been taken.
The Chief Minister has said in the letter that along with the 6,99,439 families involved in permanent waiting in the letter written by him in connection with the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana dated July 03, 2023, the state government has set a target for 8,19,999 families of Awas Plus. Was requested to provide. Along with this, information was given to withdraw the target of 7,81,999 houses allotted for the year 2021-22 by the Government of India. The action taken by the Government of India on this request made by the State Government has not been informed till date.
The Chief Minister has also informed that a permanent waiting list was prepared by the Government of India in the year 2011 on the basis of census. The Housing Plus list was again prepared by the Government of India in the year 2018, in which 8,19,999 families were found eligible apart from the permanent waiting list. Socio-Economic Caste Census / B.P.L. by the Government of India every 10 years. Survey is being done, which has not been done yet.
The Chief Minister has also said that the Socio-Economic Survey 2023 was conducted by the state government as per the Socio-Economic Caste-2011 parameters, in which a total of 47,090 families were found to be homeless. Therefore, it has been decided to release the state share amount to the remaining 6,99,439 families of the permanent waiting list and 47,090 houseless families found by the state government in the Economic Survey 2023 to benefit by constructing houses under the scheme.
