Mahatma Gandhi University of Horticulture and Forestry will lay the foundation stone of various buildings to be constructed at a cost of Rs 119.90 crore

Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel will attend the “Bharose Ke Sammelan” organized on May 21 at village Sankra of Patan development block of Durg district. In the Chief Minister’s conference, a total amount of Rs 2028.92 crore will be distributed to the beneficiaries of the three justice schemes of the state government and Rajiv Yuva Mitan Clubs. On this occasion, Chief Minister Mr. Baghel will perform bhoomipujan and foundation stone of Mahatma Gandhi Horticulture and Forestry University, Sankara’s educational building, directorate building, administrative building, hostel and other buildings to be constructed at a cost of Rs. 119 crore 90 lakh 77 thousand.
Chief Minister Mr. Baghel will transfer an amount of Rs. 1894.93 crore as the first installment of the financial year 2023-24 for the Kharif year 2022 in the account of 24.53 lakh farmers under the Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana. Under this scheme, an amount of Rs 18 thousand 208 crore 10 lakh has been paid as input subsidy to the farmers in the last three years so far. Along with this, the amount of the first installment to be provided in the financial year 2023-24 in the accounts of 5 lakh 63 thousand 576 beneficiaries of rural and urban areas under the Rajiv Gandhi Landless Agricultural Labor Justice Scheme in the Chief Minister Mr. Baghel program is Rs 112.71 crore. Will transfer In this scheme, an amount of Rs 476 crore 68 lakh 32 thousand has been paid to the landless agricultural laborers in two years. Under this scheme, assistance of Rs 7 thousand is being given annually to the landless laborers.
Chief Minister Mr. Baghel will transfer an amount of Rs 13.57 crore to the accounts of cow dung vendors, Gothan committees and women’s groups in lieu of cow dung purchased from May 01 to May 15 under Godhan Nyaya Yojana. Under the Godhan Nyaya Yojana, 116.19 lakh quintal cow dung has been procured since the inception of the scheme. Rs 228.42 crore has been paid to cow dung vendors. Similarly, Rs 75 crore 8 lakh has been paid as dividend amount to self-help groups and Rs 113 crore 63 lakh as payment and dividend to Gauthan committees. Women self-help groups working in Gauthans have earned an income of Rs 131 crore so far from various income generating activities.
Apart from this, Chief Minister Mr. Baghel will also distribute the second installment amount of Rs. 7 crore 71 lakh 25 thousand to 3085 Rajiv Yuva Mitan Clubs of 13 districts of the state. So far an amount of Rs 60 crore 18 lakh has been released to Rajiv Yuva Mitan Clubs as first and second installment.
The Chief Minister will inaugurate Rural Industrial Park established at a cost of two crore rupees in village Kurmigundra of Patan development block of Durg district and inaugurate food range ‘Sarvada Life’ built under RIPA. Mr. Baghel will also inaugurate ‘Sarathi App’ prepared by Durg district administration for redressal of public grievances.
