Tribute was paid on the photo of late Mr. Potai

Raipur, March 19, 2023/ Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel reached village Babu Dabena in Kanker district today and participated in the Dashgatra program of late Mr. Sohan Potai, former MP of Kanker Lok Sabha constituency. The Chief Minister paid tribute to late Mr. Sohan Potai by offering flowers on his photograph. On this occasion, he met the bereaved family members of Late Shri Potai and expressed condolences and consoled them. Recalling the moments spent with late Mr. Sohan Potai, the Chief Minister said that Mr. Sohan Potai was a great leader of the tribals, who fought for the rights of the tribals throughout his life. He represented the Kanker constituency in the Lok Sabha four times. The Chief Minister termed the demise of Member of Parliament Mr. Potai as an irreparable loss to the society.
On this occasion, Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel, Excise and Industry Minister Mr. Kawasi Lakhma, MP from Bastar Lok Sabha constituency Mr. Deepak Baij, Parliamentary Secretary Mr. Shishupal Shorey, Parliamentary Advisor to the Chief Minister Mr. Rajesh Tiwari, Member of Gauseva Commission Mr. Narendra Yadav, Backward Classes Commission member Mr. Girwar Sahu, Bastar Development Authority member Mr. Biresh Thakur, Scheduled Tribe Commission member Mr. Nitin Potai, District Panchayat President Mr. Hemant Dhruv, Planning Commission member Mr. Vijay Thakur, District President Antagarh Mr. Badrinath Gavde, District Vice President Bhanupratappur Mr. Sunaram Teta including many people’s representatives, community leaders and a large number of area residents were present.
