Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel has paid tribute to world-renowned poet, litterateur, philosopher Gurudev and author of India’s national anthem, Gurudev Rabindranath Tagore, on his death anniversary on August 07. Recalling the contribution of Gurudev Rabindranath Tagore, Mr. Baghel has said that Gurudev Rabindranath ji was rich in versatility. He has written many novels, essays, short stories, Wrote plays and many songs. He breathed new life into Indian cultural consciousness through Bangla literature. He was awarded the Nobel Prize in Literature for his world famous epic Gitanjali. He became the first Asian to receive the Nobel Prize. The songs written by him got composed and gave birth to a new culture of Rabindra Sangeet. The result of the wide impact of his writing is that his compositions became the national anthems of India and Bangladesh. Chief Minister Mr. Baghel said that the versatile personality and work of Gurudev Rabindranath Tagore is incomparable.
