Better and orderly office will bring more work in the board: Chief Minister
Raipur , 21 November 2020. Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel inaugurated the newly constructed building of Chhattisgarh Revenue Board at a cost of Rs . 6 crore 11 lakh at his residence office here this evening . Expressing happiness over the release of this much-awaited building in Bilaspur, he said that now the revenue of the Board of Revenue will be further increased due to the availability of better and orderly office. On this occasion, videoconferencing, Public Works Minister Mr. Tamradhwaj Sahu and Revenue Minister Mr. Jaisingh Agrawal from Bilaspur , Mr. C.K. Khaitan , Advocate General Shri Satishchandra Verma and regional MLAs attended.
Chief Minister Mr. Baghel while addressing the program said that revenue courts have an important role in keeping an orderly record of land and settling land disputes in the state. The meeting of a well-equipped and orderly office here will speed up the disposal of revenue cases and the work of the Board. He said that our Chhattisgarh is an agricultural state. It has 44 percent forest land and 76 percent of the population lives in rural areas. Our government is working to organize and provide mobility to the revenue administration in the state. Adding another link in this direction, a new office building of Revenue Board has been inaugurated in Bilaspur today. This will help the common man greatly.
Chief Minister Mr. Baghel further said that Revenue Board is the largest court for revenue matters. The decisions of division level revenue courts are appealed to the revenue board. In order to facilitate revenue administration in the state and to facilitate the general public, 23 new tehsils have been constituted in the state including Gourela-Pendra-Marwahi district . Apart from this, new sections have also been formed. Be resolved in a timeframe of revenue cases in the state , the process has been simplified. 19 thousand 743 out of 20 thousand villages of the stateThe digitized map of the village is seated through seat bushings and land records software. On the basis of aerial survey data from the National Remote Sensing Center, Hyderabad, new revenue records have been prepared in ten urban areas. The digitization of Nazul and altered records has been completed. Action is being taken to prepare a geo-referenced map.
Speaking on the occasion, Public Works Minister Mr. Tamradhwaj Sahu said that good facility has been made available from the new revenue board building and this will further speed up the hearing of revenue cases. Similarly, Revenue Minister Shri Jaisingh Agrawal said that there was a need for a revenue board building in Bilaspur , which has been completed today. He informed that along with modernizing the functioning of revenue courts in the state, e-courts have been arranged. There is more transparency and speed in disposal of cases through e-court.
Revenue Board Chairman Mr. C.K. While giving a welcome address, Khaitan said that a new building has been constructed near the old revenue division office in Bilaspur at a cost of Rs 6 crore 11 lakh. Three court-rooms , archives with modern method , a hall , bar room and library etc. have been built in this building . Secretary of Revenue Board Shri B.S. Uyke did it. MLA Mrs. Rashmi Ashish Singh , Additional Chief Secretary to Chief Minister Mr. Subrata Sahu , Secretary Mr. Siddharth Komal Pardeshi , Secretary Revenue Ms. Rita Shandilya were present on the occasion .
