Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel has given big gifts to the residents of Patan assembly constituency. Today, he inaugurated 768 development works and performed Bhoomi Pujan in a program organized at the Assembly Headquarters, Patan. This includes inauguration of 137 works worth Rs 55 crore 40 lakh 51 thousand and bhoomi pujan of 631 works costing Rs 32 crore 23 thousand. Before attending the program, Chief Minister Mr. Baghel paid tribute by garlanding the statue of Brahmin Swami Atmanand ji at Atmanand Chowk in Patan. On this occasion, Chairman of Nagar Panchayat Patan, Mr. Bhupendra Satya, Vice President Mr. Baldau Bhale, Chairman of Chhattisgarh Workers Craft Board Mr. Tarun Bijora, Member of Chhattisgarh Khadi Village Industries Board Mr. Hemant Dewangan were specially present.
Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel said that today on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Swami Atmanand ji, Bhoomi Pujan of development works was inaugurated. The changes that have taken place during our tenure in the last 5 years are visible today. Adequate arrangements for water and electricity were made. Today, there has been not only physical development but also economic, social, educational and cultural developments in all areas. Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel, while paying tribute to Brahmin Swami Atmanand ji on his birth anniversary, said that Swami Atmanand realized the ideology of Swami Ramakrishna Paramhansa on the land of Chhattisgarh and awakened the values ​​of human service and education. Swami Vivekananda’s thoughts also had a deep impact on Atmanand ji. Due to which he spent his entire life in the service of the suffering. He spent the money collected to establish monasteries and ashrams to serve the famine victims and for relief work. The Chief Minister said that Swami Atmanand ji has made a huge contribution to Chhattisgarh as a social reformer and educationist. The work done by him in the field of human service is exemplary and inspiring. He described service to suffering humanity as the greatest religion. The state government is moving forward taking inspiration from his ideals and ideas. Swami Atmanand ji established a high level education center in Narayanpur Ashram for the upliftment of the forest dwellers. On similar lines, Swami Atmanand English and Hindi Medium Schools are being started by the state government in the district headquarters and development blocks. 753 Swami Atmanand excellent English and Hindi medium schools are running in remote areas including rural areas in the state. In this series, Swami Atmanand English Medium College is also being started to provide quality higher education to the students. Taking this initiative further, the state government has started Swami Atmanand Coaching Center Scheme. With this, children from poor and remote areas can get all the opportunities to move ahead with quality education. Through this scheme, free coaching will also be given to class 12th students in government schools for competitive examinations of engineering and medical through 146 development block headquarters of the state and 150 coaching centers including 4 cities, Raipur, Durg, Bilaspur and Korba.
Chief Minister Mr. Baghel said that Swami Atmanand ji established the Abujhmad project to give respect to the tribals and to provide them fair prices for their produce. Efforts have been made to improve the condition and direction of the forest dwellers by starting a Forest Dwellers Service Center in Narayanpur. Following his footsteps, the state government has also set a record at the national level by purchasing forest produce from forest dwellers at reasonable prices. He introduced nutritious food to pregnant mothers during times of famine, so that children did not become malnourished. The state government has launched the Chief Minister Malnutrition Campaign with a pledge to make Chhattisgarh free from malnutrition by arranging hot meals for women and children. Chief Minister Mr. Baghel said that the thoughts, values ​​and service of Swami Atmanand will always inspire to help the needy people.
The process of returning the deposits of Rs 6 crore 2 lakh 80 thousand of 3790 investors related to chit fund company in the district has started. Chief Minister Mr. Baghel symbolically presented checks of the amount to 4 investors today. On this occasion, district and district Panchayat officials, distinguished citizens of the city, officers-employees and a large number of people were present.
