Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel has congratulated and greeted the people of Hareli Tihar. He has said that Hareli Tihar brings happiness and prosperity to all. In his greeting message, Mr. Baghel has said that the culture of Chhattisgarh is prominently visible in the festivals here. Chhattisgarh’s Lok Tihar Hareli is the first festival related to agriculture and farming created in the life of Chhattisgarh. In this, the tools related to farming are worshiped with the wish of a good harvest. By worshiping Mother Earth on this day, we express our gratitude to her for sustenance.
Mr. Baghel said that Hareli Tihar is celebrated with great enthusiasm and enthusiasm in the villages. Nagar, pickaxe, spade, All kinds of tools used in agriculture including the shovel are cleaned and worshipped. According to ancient belief, neem leaves are planted outside the houses for protection. In a traditional way, people celebrate Hareli by riding a cart. This year the cart has been made available for sale in C-Mart through the Forest Department. With this, urban people will also be able to connect with their archaeological traditions and will participate in the economic progress of the villagers. Mr. Baghel has said that the Chhattisgarh government has also declared a public holiday on the day of Hareli festival. The intention of the state government behind this is to connect the people of Chhattisgarh with their tradition and culture. It is a matter of pleasure that the enthusiasm and fervor of Hareli, the folk festival of Chhattisgarh, has now started showing color in foreign countries as well. Overseas Indians are spreading their culture far and wide by celebrating it with enthusiasm every year.
Chief Minister Mr. Baghel said that the Chhattisgarh government has taken many important decisions to save its culture and tradition. The state’s ambitious and unique ‘Godhan Nyay Yojana’ was launched three years ago on the day of Hareli. Last year in 2022, starting a new chapter of organic farming and economic empowerment in the state from the day of Hareli Tihar, “cow-urine purchase” has been started. Taking this forward, Chhattisgarh Olympics are being started from the day of Hareli Tihar this year.
Chief Minister Mr. Baghel said that when the farmer is happy and prosperous, happiness and prosperity also comes in the life of the common people. In Chhattisgarh, the rural economy is being strengthened by reviving traditional resources through Narwa, Garwa, Ghurwa, Bari Yojana, Godhan Nyay Yojana, and Roka-Cheka Abhiyan. Gothans have been developed as rural livelihood centers. The Chief Minister has said that along with development, the flow of traditions to future generations is a work of collective responsibility. It is hoped that all the residents of the state will participate in making the vision of Garhbo Nava Chhattisgarh a reality.
