Chief Minister said – On Chherchera festival today, a sum of Rs 1.24 lakh was collected for the hospital by asking for Chherchera in Kanker

Raipur, 28 January 2021. Chief Minister  Bhupesh Baghel attended the Tehsil level Guru Ghasidas Jayanti function held at Patan in Durg district today. On this occasion, he congratulated the people on Guru Ghasidas Jayanti and Chherchera festival. Expressing happiness on the festival of Chherchhera, an important festival of Chhattisgarh, Chief Minister Mr. Baghel said that I myself participated enthusiastically in this Chherchera festival today and collected a sum of one lakh 24 thousand rupees in Kanker by asking for Chherchera. Keeping the public interest in mind, it was dedicated to the hospital. He also spoke to the people present there and took information about celebrating Chherchera festival with enthusiasm. He said that I too remembered that line of the song of Chherchera on this festival – ‘Aran, Baran, Kodo, Duran, Jabhe Debe Tabhe Tarn’.

Addressing the function, the Chief Minister said that we are working for social harmony while following the path of Guru Ghasidas ji. Guru Ghasidas ji’s message was of truth and non-violence. This year we announced the establishment of Guru Ghasidas Museum on 10 acres in Naya Raipur on the occasion of Guru Ghasidas Jayanti. Along with this, announced a 200 seater residential complex, in which scheduled caste students will be able to prepare for competitive examination. Minimata Diagnostic Center announced, Through which the facility of investigation will be easy for the general public. Panthi Dance Award was started in the name of famous artist Devdas Banjare. Scheduled Caste Girls Hostel will be constructed in Patan Block at a cost of Rs 1 crore 91 lakh. The Chief Minister also inaugurated Satnam Bhavan on this occasion. Along with this, he also announced the Dome shed in the building. On this occasion, PHE Minister Shri Guru Rudra Kumar raised the Jait pillar. The PHE Minister said on this occasion that the message of Guru Ghasidas ji is of social harmony. Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has always been working towards advancing the interests of Satnam society. Minister in charge of the district, Mr. Mohammad Akbar and other public representatives were present on the occasion.
