Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel has said that the message of Baba Guru Ghasidas ji is relevant even today. Chhattisgarh is moving ahead in the direction of development at a rapid pace by following the paths of truth, non-violence, brotherhood, fraternity, equality and harmony as told by Baba Guru Ghasidas ji. In the coming time also, following the path shown by Baba Guru Ghasidas, Chhattisgarh will become a prosperous state of the country. Chief Minister Mr. Baghel was addressing a program organized on the occasion of Baba Guru Ghasidas Jayanti (Guru Parv) in Lalpur Dham village of Lormi today. On this occasion, he called Gautiya Sh. While congratulating and wishing the common people on Baba Guru Ghasidas Jayanti, Chief Minister Shri Baghel said that Guru Ghasidas Jayanti is being celebrated all over Chhattisgarh in an atmosphere of reverence, respect and enthusiasm. He said that truth is the ornament of man. He talked about following the messages of Baba Guru Ghasidas. Chief Minister Shri Baghel said that Baba Guru Ghasidas has given the message of social harmony. He said that during the Corona crisis in the country, the migrant workers were coming by road and other routes facing great difficulties. At such a time, the officials and employees of various departments including public representatives, district and police administration, social organizations and Mitanin, Anganwadi workers arranged food, water, medicines etc. for them. All this was possible only with the blessings of Baba Guru Ghasidas.
Chief Minister Shri Baghel said that every family of the state should be financially prosperous. They get quality education. For this, many schemes are being operated by the government in the state. He said that paddy has been produced in large quantity this year. So far 28 lakh metric tonnes of paddy has been procured. He said that in view of the shortage of gunny bags, it has been decided to purchase paddy in the gunny bags of the farmers. On buying paddy from the gunny bags of the farmers, they are being given an amount at the rate of Rs 25 per gunny bag.
The Chief Minister said that dung is being procured from cow-keepers and shepherds under the Godhan Nyay Yojana. So far Rs 108 crore has been given in the bank accounts of cow-keepers and shepherds. He said that various beneficial schemes like Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana are being operated in the state. The economic condition of the farmers has been strengthened by the operation of these schemes. This has been possible only with the blessings of Baba. Chief Minister Mr. Baghel offered prayers to Jaitkham, a symbol of faith and belief of the society and wished for the prosperity of the people. In the program, the people of the society welcomed Chief Minister Mr. Baghel by wearing a Gajmala.
State’s Urban Administration Minister Dr. Shiv Dahria while addressing said that Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel took oath on 17th December 2018 and attended Baba Guru Ghasidas Jayanti on the second day i.e. 18th December 2019. On the same day, Chief Minister Shri Baghel said that the Chhattisgarh government would follow the path shown by Baba Guru Ghasidas and the Chhattisgarh government was following the path shown by Baba. He said that most of the announcements made by the state government have been completed. He said that cleanliness based surveys were conducted all over the country. Chhattisgarh has got the first position in the whole country in this survey. On which Chhattisgarh is feeling proud. He said that after the formation of the new government, first of all the decision of loan waiver of farmers was taken.
