Raipur, 18 November 2021. Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel today inaugurated Khursipar Canal Road under Bhilai Municipal Corporation area. Construction and beautification of three kilometer long canal road from Kohka Minor Main Canal to Nandani Road has been done at a cost of Rs.28 crore 86 lakh 84 thousand. Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel greeted the residents on this occasion and extended his best wishes. Canal Road has been beautified in a very attractive way. A beautiful garden has been built on its side. With the construction of Canal Road, people of ward number-13 of Bhilai Municipal Corporation will get better transportation facilities. Forest Minister Shri Mohammad Akbar, MLA Shri Devendra Yadav, officials and councilors of Bhilai Municipal Corporation and a large number of residents were present on this occasion.
LED lights have been installed in high poles on the divider located in the middle of this four-lane canal road. Champa flower plants have been planted in the middle of the divider. The Chief Minister also did a road show here after the inauguration of Canal Road. A large number of people present on the occasion greeted the Chief Minister by happily waving their hands in the air.
