Process of Obtaining Permit for transportation regarding Essential Service made simpler for the Providers
District Administration builds CG COVID-19 E-Pass App.

Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel today inaugurated the CG COVID-19 E-Pass Android App developed by District Administration, with the support of Raipur Smart City Limited and Municipal Corporation, at Government Old Age Home, situated in Mana Camp of capital city Raipur. This app would make the process of issuing online transport permit to the providers of 22 essential services in the state. Through this online system, the required administrative permit for transportation within capital city and to other cities and districts of Chhattisgarh can now be obtained easily from home.
The entire procedure of obtaining permission for COVID-19 E-Pass has been made extremely simple. For this, one can download COVID-19 E-Pass App from https://rebrand-ly/z9k75qp . After installing, enter OTP and fill the application form. It is mandatory to enter aadhaar card number and vehicle number number with the application. Uploading photo, identity card and service provider certificate with the form is also compulsory. Application form so submitted will be analyzed and evaluated by Police Department, and permission will be given/denied accordingly. Police personnel doing duty on road will also be able to verify the approved applications and sanctioned permits through this application.
This E-Pass is extremely beneficial for sellers of vegetable, milk, fruits, medicines, petrol pump and bank employees, who need permit for transportation as essential service providers. This will serve as legal permit to move within the city or to other places, and save the essential providers from inconvenience. On the occasion, Ex- Jila Panchayat Member Mr. Pankaj Sharma, Social Welfare Department Secretary Mr. R Prasanna, Director Mr. P Dayanand, Collector Mr. S Bharatidasan, SSP Mr. Arif Sheikh Mohammad and other department officials were also present.
