Chhattisgarhi and Millets dishes will get a boost

Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel today inaugurated the Panchayat Cafe at Churia, the development block headquarters of Rajnandgaon district. On this occasion, the Chief Minister tasted Fara and Millets dish Ragi ke Halwa. On this occasion, he praised the dishes being prepared by the women of Bihan Women’s Self-Help Group. The women of the group expressed their gratitude to the Chief Minister for providing employment opportunity through the cafe.
It is worth mentioning that on the initiative of the district administration, Panchayat Cafe has been started in the premises of District Panchayat Chhuria with the aim of providing employment to the women of self-help groups and promoting traditional Chhattisgarhi and Millets dishes. During the inspection of the Panchayat Cafe, the officials of the district administration informed the Chief Minister in detail about the Panchayat Cafe being run in the district. Officials told that 5 women self-help groups, Padam Tulsi Self-Help Group Bamhanicharbhatha, Bhavani Self-Help Group, Shikarimahaka, Maa Shakti Self-Help Group Tendutola, Jai Maa Santoshi Self-Help Group Kumarrachuria have been selected for the operation of Panchayat Cafe in Chhuria. Financial assistance amounting to Rs 2 lakh 50 thousand has been made available to Jai Gurudev self-help group Jangalpur through banks.
Chhattisgarhi traditional dishes Cheela, Fara, Thethri, Khurmi, Anarsa, Millet Dishes, Idli, Dosa and other fast food dishes are being sold in the Panchayat Cafe of Chhuria. It is noteworthy that Panchayat Cafe is being run in village Arjuni of Dongargaon development block. On this occasion, Chairman of Chhattisgarh Other Backward Classes Area Development Authority Mr. Daleshwar Sahu, Chairman of Chhattisgarh State Endyavasayi Cooperative Finance and Development Corporation Mr. Dhanesh Patila were also present.
