The Chief Minister saw the natural beauty from the watchtower and the panoramic view of the city
Raipur, 14 December 2020. Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghen inaugurated the Oxygen Park developed by Forest Department at Mahamaya Pahar in Ambikapur, Headquarters of Surguja Division at a cost of about Rs. 78 lakhs. While visiting the park, he climbed into the watchtower built there and got a panoramic view of the city and nature. Praising the development of Oxygen Park, the Chief Minister said that more arrangements should be made for the children to swing in the park and maintain its greenery forever.
On this occasion, Urban Administration and Development and District In-charge Minister Dr. Shiv Kumar Dahria, Panchayat and Rural Development Minister Mr. TS Singhdev, Food Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection Minister Mr. Amarjeet Bhagat, School Education Minister Dr. Premasai Singh Tekam, Higher Education Minister Mr. Umesh Patel, Parliamentary Secretary and Samari MLA, Mr. Chintamani, Chairman of Chhattisgarh Food Commission, Mr. Gurpreet Singh Babra, Chairman of Chhattisgarh State Forest Medicine Plant Development Board, Mr. Balakrishna Pathak, Chairman of Labor Welfare Board Mr. Shafi Ahmed, Vice President of Twenty Point Program Implementation Committee Shri Ajay Aggarwal, Mayor Dr. Ajay Tirkey, District Panchayat President Smt. Madhu Singh and Vice Chairman Shri Rakesh Gupta will be special guests.
It is noteworthy that the Oxygen Park at Mahamaya Pahar has been developed by the Forest Department at a cost of about Rs 78 lakhs. Children’s play area including watchtower, Ramvatika, Pagoda, lawn carpet etc. have been developed here. With the development of this park, Mahamaya mountain will attract tourists.
