Raipur, 24 November 2020. Chief Minister  Bhupesh Baghel inaugurated the Jawahar Bazaar parking cum commercial complex in the heart of the capital Raipur this evening. This historic commercial complex has been renovated and renovated by Raipur Smart City Limited at a cost of about Rs 23 crore 75 lakh. In the renovation, the historic main gate of the old market has been kept intact, due to which its beauty has increased even more.

It is noteworthy that Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel inaugurated 6 different works related to civic amenities in the capital Raipur this evening and handed over 6 different works to the capitalists. These include Devendra Nagar Global Chowk and road widening works constructed at a cost of Rs. 3 crore 28 lakhs, works done in Oxygen Smart Road at a cost of about Rs. 2 crore 52 lakhs, upgradation of public facilities in Collectorate Gardens at a cost of about Rs. 75 lakhs. The works and the new city Kotwali police station building constructed at a cost of about 6 crores and the musical fountain installed in the old pond are also included.

It is noteworthy that the renovation of the Jawahar Bazaar parking co-business complex will serve the capitalists for a long time in the middle of the city with a streamlined market for shopping and car parking needs. While citizens will get a convenient market for shopping in the heart of Raipur, they will also get rid of the problem of parking vehicles. For the new look, 147 shops have been constructed in this three storey Jawahar Bazar parking cum commercial complex, eight commercial offices have been built in the second and third floors for commercial use. After renovation, 67 businessmen who were already doing business as tenants have also been given ownership. The complex has 150 cars and 110 two-wheelers.

On the occasion of the inauguration, the State Home Minister Mr. Tamradhwaj Sahu, Agriculture Minister Mr. Ravindra Choubey, Forest Minister Mr. Mohammad Akbar, Urban Administration Minister Dr. Shiv Kumar Dahriya, MLAs Sarva Satyanarayan Sharma, Kuldeep Juneja, Vikas Upadhyay, Mayor of Municipal Corporation Raipur, Mr. Ejaz Dhebar, Chairman, Pramod Dubey along with several public representatives and councilors of Municipal Corporation, Chief Secretary  R.P. Mandal, Raipur Collector Dr. S. Bhartidasan, Municipal Corporation Commissioner Mr. Saurabh Kumar were also present.
