Raipur: Chief Minister inaugurated development works worth Rs 244 crore for development of Bastar district through video conferencing

Raipur, 21 July 2020. Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel today inaugurated and performed Bhoomi Pujan of 61 construction works costing Rs. 244 crore 25 lakh in Bastar district through video conferencing. Of these, he inaugurated 11 works costing Rs 22 crore 87 lakh and laid the foundation stone for the works costing Rs 221 crore 38 lakh.
Mr. Baghel inaugurated and performed Bhoomi Pujan for the expansion of health facilities at Maharani Hospital in Jagdalpur at a cost of about seven crore 27 lakhs. He inaugurated the upgradation work at Maternal and Child Health Institute Kadambini at Maharani Hospital at a cost of Rs one crore, maternal-infant pathology lab, blood back and dialysis equipment at Maharani Hospital at a cost of Rs four crore 58 lakh. Similarly, the Maharani Hospital performed land renovation of eye ward at a cost of about Rs 50 lakhs, work of second floor addition of the hospital at a cost of around Rs 49 lakhs and construction of the existing OPD, MCH at a cost of Rs 50 lakhs.
The Chief Minister also inaugurated a sub-health center constructed at a cost of Rs 28.35 lakh at Sathaspur in Lohandiguda, a sub-health center building at Chidpal of Block Dharbha at a cost of Rs 14.10 lakh and a sub-health center constructed at a cost of Rs 34.60 lakh at Chhindgur. He performed bhumi pujan of primary health center at Badakakalur in Bastanar development block with a cost of Rs. 75 lakh and building of Mitanin Training Center at Jagdalpur, Bastar, Bakavand, Tokapal, Lohandiguda, Darbha and Bastanar at a cost of Rs. 20 lakhs.
The Chief Minister inaugurated and performed bhoomi poojan of 29 works related to road construction costing Rs 195 crore 14 lakh in Bastar district. He inaugurated a 1.20 km long road from Dhaniyalur Main Road in Bastar district to Kaliguda constructed at a cost of Rs 1 crore 96 lakh. Three culverts have also been built on this route. Among the roads that the Chief Minister performed Bhoomi Pujan, the Negaras-Kandakiras road to be built at a cost of Rs 21 crore 3 lakh in Darbha development block, MRL-2 Bastanar-Dabbapara-Badechakwa constructed at a cost of about Rs 22.31 crore. Road, Garenga-Chargaon road in Bakavand development block at a cost of Rs 19.31 crore, Bastanar-Mutanpal road to be built at a cost of 10.08 crore, Mavlipadar-Garenga bypass via Chiangpal road, Tokapal development block, built at a cost of Rs 10.49 crore in Darbha development block. Metawada-Rajur (Musariguda) road to be built at a cost of Rs. 10.82 crores, Chitrakote Road Rd 19 km at a cost of Rs. 10.58 crores. Selepal Kurenga Road via PujariPara Road and Lohagiguda Development Block consisting of the Baraji-Taragaon road at a cost of Rs. 10.65 crores.
The Chief Minister inaugurated 3 large bridges costing Rs 11 crore 38 lakh in Bastar district, including construction of high-level bridge over Baharjodi Nala on Sevada Koynar road at a cost of Rs 3 crore 65 lakh, Jabel at a cost of Rs 2 crore 96 lakh. Construction of high-level bridge over Markandi river on Garenga road, inaugurated construction of high-level bridge over Banjarin nala on Chitrakote Dollapara-Kolpara road at a cost of Rs. 4 crore 77 lakh. He performed Bhoomi Pujan of Chitrakote development block Lohandiguda village Badharaur village of district Bastar at a cost of Rs 4 crore 17 lakh and bridge construction work on Naniibhar drain of Parapur road and Dampanala of Gudhiyapara road of Ganjopara costing Rs 5 crore 93 lakh. . The Chief Minister inaugurated the construction of the Higher Secondary School building at Ratenga in Bastar Development Block at a cost of Rs 95.35 lakh and the Girls Higher Secondary School Building at Bhanpuri at a cost of Rs 1 crore 21 lakh. Similarly, 6 construction works costing Rs 5 crore 22 lakh were performed. These include construction of Electro Machine Lab and Power Protection Room at Government Engineering College, Jagdalpur at a cost of Rs 65.70 Lakh and renovation work at Workshop Building at a cost of Rs 97.48 Lakh, Higher Secondary School Building at Baniagaon at block cost of Rs 11 million , Construction of Children’s Government Higher Secondary School Building at Bastar at a cost of Rs. 1 crore 21 lakhs, Construction of Kasturba Gandhi High School building at Bastanar at a cost of Rs. 51.66 lakhs, Government new high school building at Ghatghnora in Tokapal at a cost of Rs. 75.23 lakhs at Development Block Tokapal. Includes construction work. Two works costing Rs 9 crore 21 lakh were performed for the upgradation of sports grounds, including the revised upgrade work of Indira Priyadarshini Stadium at a cost of Rs 4 crore 08 lakh, Sports Complex at Dharampura at a cost of Rs 5 crore 12 lakh. Development of sports ground is included. Similarly, Patwari, Revenue Inspector Training School building was opened in Ghatpadmur at a cost of Rs one crore.
