Enjoyed boating in the pond: An overview of beautification works done

Raipur, 05 January 2021. Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel today inaugurated the work of beautifying the historic Bhima Talab of Janjgir district headquarters by cutting the lace. After inauguration, he enjoyed boating in the pond and observed beautification works. During this time he was accompanied by the President of Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly Dr. Charan Das Mahant, in-charge of Janjgir district and the state’s Public Health and Family Welfare Minister, Shri T.S. Singhdev, School Education Minister Dr. Premasai Singh Tekam were also present. After observing the beautification works of the pond, the Chief Minister visited the 12th century architectural Vishnu temple built with architecture. After observing, mass photography was also done in front of the temple.

 

The attractive beautification of the historical Bhima Talab of Janjgir has been done at a cost of Rs 6 crore 50 lakhs from the District Mineral Trust item. There is a sense of joy among the local citizens by the beautification of the pond. Two attractive grand gates, four view points, vehicle parking, Chowpatty have also been constructed to enter the pond. Colorful light spreads its shadow in the night. Which is attracting people’s attention easily. For those taking a morning and evening walk, a 1.25 km circumambulation path along the four banks of the pond, an open gym has also been arranged for exercise. Children’s Park Hammock is designed for children. Bapu’s hut has been constructed in the pond across the pond under the plan of the Urban Development Administration. In the garden, platforms are made for visitors to sit.

 

For the entertainment of the people in the garden, T.V. And the carryboard has been arranged to play. Chief Minister Mr. Baghel has Speaker Dr. Charan Das Mahant, Public Health and Family Welfare Minister Shri T.S. Tried hand on carrom board with Singhdev and School Education Minister Dr. Premasai Singh Tekam. The visitors coming to see the ancient Vishnu temple will attract an enchanting beautification of Bhima Talab. An open auditorium with a capacity of 5000 spectators has been built around the pond. Tourists will see the breathtaking view of the ancient Vishnu temple in the pond water at night. Standing grill and RCC for safety Bastar art has also been made on the wall.
