Raipur: Chief Minister honored the meritorious students

Incentive amount of one and a half lakh rupees transferred in the account of all the meritorious students 

The decision of the Chief Minister to make the meritorious students joy-riding by helicopter is an exemplary initiative for the country: School Education Minister

 Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel today felicitated the students who got place in class 10th and 12th merit list in the year 2022 annual examination of Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education under Swami Atmanand Medhavi Chhatra Protsahan Yojana. In a program organized in the Chief Minister’s residence complex, the Chief Minister awarded gold medal to class 12 topper Kunti Sao of Raigad district and Khushboo Wadhwani of Bilaspur district, who secured second position, with silver medal. Similarly, in the merit list of class 10th, gold medal was given to Suman Patel of Raigarh and Sunali Bala of Kanker jointly and silver medal to Pankaj Kumar Sahu, who got second place in Kabirdham district. An incentive amount of Rs. 1.5 lakh each was given to all the meritorious students in the function. Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel gave the incentive amount to the banks of meritorious students in the function. 

While congratulating the meritorious students, Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel said that during the meet-and-greet program, helicopter joy riding was done on the insistence of the little children. Mr. Baghel, while interacting directly with the children, asked whether anyone was afraid to sit in the helicopter, all the children collectively said that they were not scared at all. While praising all the children, the Chief Minister said that the authorities had advised all the children to travel together in an airplane, but keeping in mind the insistence of the children, I decided to take joy riding in the helicopter itself. He said that in future many children will have the opportunity to board an airplane, But only a few people get the opportunity to travel in the government’s helicopter. The Chief Minister said that keeping these things in mind, it has been decided to get the children who have secured place in the merit list of class 10th and 12th examinations to get gyriding by helicopter. The Chief Minister asked the children, how did the city of Raipur look from the helicopter? On this the children said in one voice, ‘Very beautiful’. The Chief Minister said that special backward tribes – Abujhmadia, Banga, Birhor, to encourage the economically backward and weaker sections towards education in the state. The students who secured first position in high school and higher secondary of Kamar and Pahari Korwa are being felicitated. An incentive amount of Rs. 1.5 lakh each is also being provided to all these students. The Chief Minister also presented the late Ankit Singh Parihar Memorial Award to Kunti Sao, the topper in the Higher Secondary Examination, at the function. 

School Education Minister Dr. Premsai Singh Tekam said that on the initiative of the Chief Minister, for the first time in the whole country, meritorious students have got the opportunity of helicopter joy riding. This initiative of the Chief Minister is exemplary for the whole country. Dr. Tekam said that through education we are prepared for the challenges of future life. He expressed confidence that the commendable work of the Mandal would inspire other students of the state and more and more students would move towards higher education. Dr. Tekam informed that under the Swami Atmanand Medhavi Chhatra Protsahan Yojana, out of 125 students who got place in the merit list of class 10th and 12th examination of Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education for the year 2022, 90 of class 10th and 90 of class 12th. 35 students are involved. Principal Secretary School Education Dr.
