Raipur, 01 October 2021. Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel handed over 12 nos of Meditronics ventilators to the Health Department, provided by the ‘Chhattisgarh Association for North America’ (Chana), a social organization of non-resident Indians of Chhattisgarh settled in America, in a program organized at the dispensary at his Raipur residence this evening. Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel told the officials of the Health Department that these ventilators should be sent to those districts where ventilators are needed. The Chief Minister thanked the office bearers and members of Chana for providing ventilators to Chhattisgarh.

Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel had met the members of Chana during his stay in America. These ventilators have been donated by the members of the organization to the Health Department, Government of Chhattisgarh for the prevention and control of the possible third wave of Kovid-19 by collecting funds. Chief Minister Shri Baghel took information from the Health Department officials about the current situation of Corona in the state. Commissioner Health Shri C.R. Prasanna told Chief Minister Baghel that at present 1072 ventilators, 19741 D type jumbo oxygen cylinders, 8374 oxygen concentrators, 6445 B type oxygen cylinders and oxygen generation plants are installed at 25 places in the state and their installation is under process at 24 other places.
