Raipur, 13 January 2022. Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel has greeted people on the auspicious occasion of Makar Sankranti and Pongal festivals. He has wished happiness, prosperity and safety for people of the state.
“The auspicious occasions of Makar Sankranti and Pongal, the harvest festival, which marks transition of sun into Capricorn sign, are celebrated in India with great zeal and enthusiasm. Throughout India, the festival is celebrated with different names in different parts of the country. This festival of Makar Sankranti signifies a change in season. May this festival brings pleasant changes and positive transformation in the lives of all the people in the state and the country”, said Chief Minister in his message to public.
