Raipur: Chief Minister gave a gift of three and a quarter million to Rajnandgaon district

Raipur, 10 September 2021. Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel gave development works worth Rs. 3.15 crore to Rajnandgaon district on the auspicious occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi from his residence office here today. Through a virtual program organized at the Chief Minister’s residence office, he performed Bhoomipujan for the construction of a new building of Community Health Center to be constructed at a cost of Rs 2.5 crore in Dongargarh, the holy city of Maa Bamleshwari. On this occasion, the Chief Minister also laid the foundation stone for the construction of branch building of cooperative bank at Manpur and Mudhipar villages in Rajnandgaon district. Both these buildings will be constructed at a cost of Rs.36-36 lakh. On this occasion, Health Minister Shri T.S. Singhdeo, Minister of Forest and Climate Change Mr. Mohammad Akbar, Industries Minister Shri Kawasi Lakhma was present. In the program, Food Minister and Minister in-charge of Rajnandgaon district, Shri Amarjit Bhagat virtually connected with Ambikapur.
While addressing the program, the Chief Minister said that it is our top priority to strengthen the health facilities in all the government hospitals in the entire Chhattisgarh from the block to the district headquarters. Similar elaborate arrangements are being made in Rajnandgaon district as well as all over Chhattisgarh. There will be no shortage of anything including beds, equipment, doctors, medical-staff, oxygen, ventilators, concentrators in hospitals. The process of tender has been completed for the construction of new building of Community Health Center at Acholi along with additional 10-bed Covid Care Ward sanctioned at a cost of Rs.
The Chief Minister said that taking lessons from the past experiences of corona infection, all necessary arrangements are being made to deal with the third wave. The number of oxygen beds has been increased for the provision of oxygen supply in all government hospitals of Rajnandgaon district. Arrangements have been made to provide oxygen through pipeline to a total of 970 beds in various hospitals including 520 beds of Medical College Pendri. Oxygen generation plants are being set up in identified government hospitals. Safe vaccine, safe family campaign has been very successful in Rajnandgaon district. So far more than 10 lakh people have got the vaccines done in the district.
Health Minister Shri TS Singhdeo and Food Minister and Minister in-charge of Rajnandgaon district, Shri Amarjit Bhagat addressed the program. It is worth mentioning that the Manpur and Khairagarh development blocks are located in the remote area of ​​Mudhipar Rajnandgaon district. For the convenience of the farmers, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, while addressing the taking over program of the newly appointed Chairman of District Central Co-operative Bank on July 24, 2021, had announced the construction of a branch of the cooperative bank in both the above villages. Under which the foundation stone of these buildings was also laid today.
