Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel has congratulated and greeted the people of the state on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Mahavir Swami, the 24th Tirthankar of Jainism on April 04. The Chief Minister has said that Mahavir Swami gave the message of truth, non-violence, love and compassion to the society. He emphasized on internal purity along with external cleanliness. He described non-violence as paramount to all religions and taught people to ‘live and let live’. His principles and teachings are relevant even today. Everyone can build a happy society by following the path shown by Mahavir Swami ji and serving the poor.
