Raipur, 09 April 2020. Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel has expressed deep grief over the untimely death of four sisters of the same family drowning in the pond in village Ravas of Narharpur tehsil under North Bastar Kanker district today. Expressing condolences to the bereaved family, he prayed to God for the peace of the dead souls.

Under the direction of Chief Minister Mr. Baghel, under the provision of Revenue Book Circular to the immediate family, the district administration sanctioned a sum of Rs. 16 lakhs according to the provision of revenue book circular. Four real sisters of the same family of village Ravas – Kumari Bhumika Netam three years, Kumari Narmada Netam 6 years, Kumari Girja Netam 9 years and Kumari Netra Netam 11 years died of drowning in the pond today. Financial assistance of Rs. 16 lakhs has been sanctioned to his parents Mr. Phoolchand and Mrs. Ganga Bai.
