Raipur: Chief Minister encouraged kickboxing players

Players from Sarguja won medals in national competition, Chief Minister congratulated them for their bright future

Four players from Surguja represented Chhattisgarh in the Professional National Kick Boxing League held in Coorg, Karnataka from 10 to 14 November and won 2 gold, one silver and one bronze medal each, raising the flag of Chhattisgarh in this national competition. These medal winning players met Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai at his residence office and informed him about their achievements. The Chief Minister encouraged these players and wished them a bright future.

In this competition organized by Wako India Kick Boxing Federation, Swati Rajwada of Surguja won gold in the under 60 kg weight category, Sarwar Ekka won gold medal in the under 50 kg weight category, Satyam Sahu won silver in the under 70 kg weight category and Sanjana Minj won bronze medal in the under 50 kg weight category.

On this occasion, President of Kick Boxing Association of Chhattisgarh, Mr. Chhagan Lal Mundada, Executive President, Mr. Tarakesh Mishra, Secretary, Mr. Akash Guru Diwan and team coach, Mr. Khilawan Das were present.
