Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel performed Bhumi Pujan of Nagar Panchayat Mana Camp Water Augmentation Yojana during the meeting in Raipur Rural today. This scheme costing about Rs 44.5 crore will be completed in 27 months. Through the Water Augmentation Yojana, clean drinking water will reach 3,200 houses in Mana Camp. On this occasion, Chief Minister Mr. Baghel announced the name of the new college to be opened in Mana Camp as Priyadarshini Indira Gandhi College. On this occasion MLA Mr. Raipur Rural MLA Mr. Satyanarayan Sharma, Mayor of Municipal Corporation Raipur Mr. Aijaz Dhebar and Chairman of District Cooperative Central Bank Raipur Mr. Pankaj Sharma, along with their public representatives and dignitaries were present.

Addressing the Bhumi Pujan ceremony of Jal Vardhan Yojana in Mana, the Chief Minister said that the completion of this scheme will ensure supply of drinking water to all households and especially our sisters will be benefited from it. He said that Mana Camp was established by Indira ji and the people here got her affection. Since then this sector is continuously progressing and progressing. The Chief Minister said that the people of Mana camp also have emotional attachment with Indira Gandhi. The Chief Minister announced the name of the new college to be opened here as Priyadarshini Indira Gandhi Mahavidyalaya on the demand of the people to keep the name of Indira ji memorable. He said that it is a matter of happiness for all of us that there will be a college named after Indira ji in the Mana Camp established by her.
It is notable that two new over head tanks will be built under the water augmentation scheme to be built in Mana camp. Along with this, about 65 thousand meter pipeline will also be laid. With the completion of this water augmentation scheme, the dependency of the camp residents on ground water sources will reduce. Water will be supplied for this scheme from Municipal Corporation Raipur.
