Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel inaugurated and performed Bhumi Pujan of development works worth Rs. 136 crore 19 lakh 65 thousand in Mahasamund region late evening today. In this program organized at Mahasamund Circuit House, foundation stones of 26 development works worth Rs 30 crore 7 lakh 37 thousand and 22 development works worth Rs 106 crore 12 lakh 28 thousand were inaugurated. Home Minister Shri Tamradhwaj Sahu, Parliamentary Secretary Shri Vinod Chandrakar were also present on this occasion.
Bhumi Pujan includes new road construction, bridge-culverts, and new works. Inauguration works include swing pool, entrance gate Sirpur, mini stadium forest ground, Manglik Bhavan, Chowpati and market construction, etc. Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel had come on a tour of Mahasamund assembly constituency during his statewide meet-meet program today. Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel met the general public in Sirpur and village Sher and inquired about the implementation of the schemes of the state government.
