Raipur, 23 October 2020.The Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel has taken seriously the various complaints received regarding the work allocation process under the Jal Jeevan Mission. Mr. Baghel has constituted a three-member team of Chief Secretary, Additional Chief Secretary Finance and Secretary Public Health Engineering Department to investigate these complaints. It is known that under the Jal Jeevan Mission, a target has been set to supply drinking water through pipelines to rural households by the year 2024. At present, the process of allocation of works of about 7 thousand crore rupees in water life mission is in progress.
