Raipur, 01 October 2020. Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel congratulated and congratulated the office bearers of the Panchayat and the urban body on the birth anniversary of Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi. The Chief Minister has written in his letter to the office bearers of the state’s panchayat and urban body that Bapu’s life-struggle and achievements were important for the country and the world. Therefore, Bapu’s birthday is a great festival for all humanity.

The Chief Minister has written in his address that if the world has to be brought out of any kind of colonialism, imperialism, communalism, violence, injustice, oppression and exploitation, then Bapu will have to follow the path. The resources of the state and nature have to be protected and utilized like a trustee. Satyagraha has to be done against injustice. Today, when we think of illuminating the dark aspects of material development, the only way seems to be the path of Gandhism. Our government has brought to life the concept of Bapu’s Ram Rajya. Words like Narva-Garuva-Ghurwa-Bari, Suraji village, Gowthan, Khet-bhani, Jal-jungle-land and respect for forest produce, the value of tribals and weaker sections have become the seed-mantra for our governance. By giving real power in the hands of the community, we are realizing the dream of village Swaraj, the latest example of which is the national record of leasing community forest rights.

The Chief Minister has written in her letter that we have to create a Chhattisgarh in which even the last person of the last row is not deprived of justice. Through our schemes, we have tried to make justice truly the power of Chhattisgarh. After assuming the reins of power, Chhattisgarh would go on the path of Bapu for an industry, with the intention of returning land acquired by tribals in Bastar, waiving farm loans. Through the Godan Nyaya Yojana, the procurement of cow dung has helped to help the farmers, villagers and people of the disadvantaged sections. The Chief Minister has mentioned in his Pati that Bapu wanted such a society. We care for the needs of every section. We have a clear vision of building Nava Chhattisgarh, which is named Mahatma Gandhi, But friends, in our democracy, you have a big responsibility on your shoulders – to take the efforts of Gandhi’s dream to build Chhattisgarh to your village-locality and streets. The Chief Minister has appealed to the office bearers of the Panchayat and the urban body to monitor the government schemes and participate in taking its benefits to the public.
