Raipur, 11 January 2022. Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel has greeted and greeted the people of the state on January 12, the birth anniversary of the great philosopher and world famous spiritual leader Swami Vivekananda, ‘National Youth Day’. Shri Baghel has said in his congratulatory message that the thoughts of Swami Vivekananda have given a new direction to the entire society. He showed the country and the world the path of service of mankind through his sermons and eloquent lectures. Many hymns like Swamiji’s ‘Arise, wake up and do not stop till the goal is achieved’ fill the youth with new energy even today.
The Chief Minister has said that it is a matter of honor and pride for Chhattisgarh that Swami Vivekananda spent most of his life in Raipur after Calcutta. He spent his childhood in Budhapara here. In order to preserve and beautify his invaluable memories, the state government is developing Swamiji’s residence, Rai Bahadur Bhootnath De Bhawan, as a memorial. The Budha Talab of Raipur is now known as Vivekananda Sarovar. The idol of Vivekananda ji’s meditative posture installed here introduces the future generation to his glorious history. The airport located at Nava Raipur is also known after Vivekananda ji, which identifies Swami ji’s association with Raipur. The Chief Minister said that at the young age of forty-nine, the incomparable legacy of Swamiji’s thoughts has been handed over to us. They are important and relevant even today. His invaluable thoughts and values will continue to pave the way for people for generations.
