Announcement of beautification of pond of Sarkhi and Kolar village and opening of branch of District Cooperative Bank in Sarkhi

Raipur, 11 March 2021.  Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel today reached the Sarkheshwar Nath alias Sarsnath Mahadev temple of Sarkhi village in Abhanpur development block of Raipur district and prayed to Lord Bholenath and wished the prosperity and prosperity of the people. The Chief Minister inaugurated the works of renovation done in this temple and participated in the program of Kalash establishment. He congratulated the people of the state on the occasion of Mahashivratri and best wishes. He said that the eighth century Shivling established here as a proof of antiquity in Sarkhi village is published as a religious and spiritual light.

 

Baghel congratulated the local MLA Dhanendra Sahu, his family and members of the temple committee and the residents for the work done for the restoration of the temple and wished for the progress and economic prosperity and happy life of all the people of the state.
Chief Minister Mr. Baghel informed the residents of the works being done by the state government for the development of all sections including villages, poor, laborers, scheduled castes, tribes, women. Referring to other schemes including Rajiv Gandhi Aashraya Yojana, purchase of paddy on support price, Godhan Nyaya Yojana, Gauthan Bari Yojana, he said that our government is constantly striving for education, health and economic prosperity of the people.

 

Chief Minister Mr. Baghel asked the officials concerned to make adequate arrangements for teachers in the village school and to propose for the reconstruction of the dilapidated Shala Bhavan. The Chief Minister announced to beautify the pond of Sarkhi and nearby village Kolar and to open a branch of the District Cooperative Bank in Sarkhi. He also announced to build a tank in the village for adequate drinking water. The Chief Minister said in his address that special attention should be paid to the health and education of children and women.
Local MLA Mr. Dhanendra Kumar Sahu said that special efforts are being made by Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel for the preservation and promotion of Chhattisgarhi tradition, Teej-festivals. Government holiday was declared on the local festival and Garhkaleva is also being established to promote Chhattisgarhi food cuisine. Under the leadership of the Chief Minister, Chhattisgarh is getting recognition in the country and abroad. Local MLA Dhanendra Sahu and village sarpanch Narendra Sahu apprised the Chief Minister of the problems of the area and placed various demands for the development of the area.
President of Chhattisgarh State Mineral Development Corporation, Mr. Girish Dewangan also addressed the program. District President Abhanpur Smt. Devanandini Sahu, District Members Durga Singh, Lokmani Kosale, Janaki Sahu, Sarvashri Yashwant Sahu, Virendra Sahu, Pradeep Sahu, Tarakeshwar Sahu, Saurabh Sharma, Renuka Sahu, Collector of Raipur District Dr. S.S. Bharatidasan, SDM Abhanpur, members of temple committee, concerned officers-employees and large number of villagers were present.
