Raipur, 7 June 2021. Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel will present 244 works costing about Rs.685 crore to Durg and Balod districts in a virtual program organized at his residence office in Raipur at 12 noon on June 8. Out of this, the Chief Minister will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of 57 works costing Rs 285 crore 87 lakh in Durg district and 187 different construction works costing Rs 399 crore 32 lakh in Balod district. These works include the work of development of basic facilities and infrastructure like education, health and drinking water.
Chief Minister inaugurated 30 works costing Rs 261 crore for Durg district and 27 works worth Rs 24 crore 78 lakh and inaugurated 66 different construction works costing Rs 97 crore 06 lakh for Balod district and Rs 302 crore 26 lakh. Bhoomipujan will be done for 121 different construction works to be done. The program of Durg district will be organized in the auditorium of Swami Atmanand Government English Medium School Amapara and BIT auditorium there and Balod.
The Chief Minister will also provide the benefits of beneficiary oriented schemes of various departments to the beneficiaries in the program of Durg district. Among the works that Mr. Baghel will perform Bhoomi Pujan in Durg district, road widening and upgradation work from Anda to Minimata Chowk at a cost of Rs. 78 crore, 21 km long road from Jamul to Nandini-Ahiwara at a cost of Rs. 12 crores. Nankatti-Daniya-Bori-Purda-Litiya road, construction of road from Engineering Park to Ekta Nagar Muktidham costing Rs.11 crores. Along with this, the Chief Minister will inaugurate various works of pipeline expansion under Jaljeevan Mission at a cost of Rs. 12 crore 49 lakh.
3 new dispensary buildings constructed at a cost of Rs 47 lakh at Shri Baghel Dundera, Bhilai-3 and Butrel, inauguration of high school buildings at Patharia and Raunda at a cost of Rs 68 lakh, 50 seater Post Matric Tribal Girls Hostel in Durg In Bhilai, the post-matriculation scheduled caste boys hostel, girls hostel and backward class boys and girls hostel will do Bhoomipujan. The cost of these works related to the education department is about Rs 9 crore. Infrastructure development in Bhilai-Charoda- widening of road from GE Road to Shriram City Padum Nagar at Chief Minister Shri Baghel Municipal Corporation Charoda at a cost of Rs.5 crore 60 lakh, as well as construction of mini stadium in World Bank Colony, shelter in Hathkhoj Transport Nagar Will inaugurate community building in Nirman and Umda.
The Chief Minister will also inaugurate the works worth Rs 51 lakh of the power company in Durg district. In this, 132/33 KV at Amleshwar worth Rs.36 lakh. He will inaugurate the work of sub-station and installation of additional transformer in Patan sub-station, work of feeder bay in Patan and additional transformer at Pulgaon and 33/11 sub-station at Khamharia.
Chief Minister Shri Baghel will inaugurate 66 different construction works costing Rs 97 crore 06 lakh and perform Bhoomi Pujan of 121 different construction works to be constructed at a cost of Rs 302 crore 26 lakh in Balod district.
