Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel will gift 46 different development works costing Rs 540 crore 32 lakh 98 thousand to the residents of the newly formed district of Sarangarh-Bilaigarh on September 3. In which 20 works constructed at a cost of Rs 28 crore 3 lakh 1 thousand were inaugurated and Bhoomi Pujan of 26 works constructed at a cost of Rs 512 crore 29 lakh 97 thousand.
In Sarangarh, 12 inaugurations at a cost of Rs 27 crore 76 lakh 26 thousand and 12 bhoomi pujan work at a cost of Rs 484 crore 82 lakh 39 thousand are included. Similarly, in Bilaigarh, 8 inaugurations at a cost of Rs 26 lakh 75 thousand and 14 Bhoomi Pujan work at a cost of Rs 27 crore 47 lakh 58 thousand are included.
Among the works that Chief Minister Shri Baghel will inaugurate, 50 seater Pre-M/s Tribal Girls Hostel in Sarangh Block, Sarangad by Tribal Development Department at a cost of Rs. 01 crore 52 thousand 97 thousand, 4 works worth Rs. Irrigation drain in Baigindih and Kapartunga, check dam in Amaldiha and embankment construction work in Ramtek, Environmental Garden at Sarangarh by Water Resources Department at a cost of Rs. In which construction of high school buildings at Porath, Pidkidipa, Pendri and Dongripali, 2 works by the bridge construction division in Sarangarh at a cost of Rs.16 crore 23 lakhs, including construction of a bridge over a drain near Banjari temple and a culvert in Devdarha Nala. Similarly, in the development block Bilaigarh, Chhattisgarh.
Among the works for which Chief Minister Shri Baghel will perform Bhoomi Pujan, 5 works of retrofitting and water supply scheme by Public Health Engineering Department at a cost of Rs 471 crore 5 lakh in Barmkela and Sarangarh, 5 by Public Works Department in Sarangarh at a cost of Rs 13 crore 39 lakh. Access road construction work in different places, construction of compound in primary school Naurangpur of Sarangarh under MNREGA at a cost of Rs 19 lakh 98 thousand and construction of CC road cum security wall at a cost of Rs 18 lakh 41 thousand in village Bhadisar. Similarly, works like water tank, pipe line, domestic tap connection etc. in 13 places of Bilaigarh by Public Health Engineering Department at a cost of Rs 24 crore 47 lakh 58 thousand and Forest Department at a cost of Rs 3 crore in Bilaigarh. Includes groundbreaking work of diversity park.
