Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel, who reached village Loing in Raigad district for meeting, offered prayers at Mahaprabhu Jagannath temple and prayed for the prosperity of the people of the state by doing circumambulation of the temple.

The statue of Sri Sri Sri Mahaprabhu Jagannath is installed in village Loing, this temple was built in the year 1805 by Sri Parmanand Gautia of village Loing. In the construction of the temple, along with the amazing workmanship of woodwork, the sanctum sanctorum of the temple was made of clay. Iron nails were not used anywhere in the construction of the temple. The temple has been reconstructed in 2012 with the help of the Gautiya family and villagers. 11 acres of land has been donated by Shri Parmanand Gautia to the priest and 6 acres to the temple trust. Even today the carved-wood used in the temple is kept in the museum of Bhopal.

Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel, who reached village Loing in Raigad district for meeting, offered prayers at Mahaprabhu Jagannath temple and prayed for the prosperity of the people of the state by doing circumambulation of the temple. Manda, Arisa, Suali and Jau (Kheer) were offered to Ramchandi Devi and Prasad was accepted by the Chief Minister.
The Chief Minister extended many congratulations to all the people present on the occasion of Navakhai festival.
After offering prayers to Mahaprabhu Jagannath and Ramchandi Devi, the Chief Minister gifted a mic and box with WiFi-Bluetooth to Phoolmati and associate Mangmati, President of Kushtu: Guru Group Loing Kirtan Mandali.
