Raipur, 25 March 2022. A delegation of journalists under the leadership of State President of Chhattisgarh Shramjeevi Journalists Association, Mr. Arvind Awasthi, met Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel at his residence office in Raipur here today. The delegation honored Chief Minister Mr. Baghel and thanked him for many important decisions taken by the Chief Minister in the interest of journalists.
Financial assistance to the families of journalists who died in Corona
Mr. Awasthi said that Chief Minister Mr. Baghel is a well-wisher of the journalists of the state, he is working like a friend in the interest of the journalists of the state and resolving their problems quickly. Shri Awasthi said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, the editors of monthly newspapers have also been given priority and the period of renewal of recognition has been increased from one year to two years. During the Corona period, journalists were given assistance for treatment and financial assistance was provided to the families of journalists who died in Corona. The journalists of the state are grateful to Chief Minister Mr. Baghel for this. The journalists also submitted a memorandum regarding their various demands, in which the Chief Minister assured to consider sympathetically. On this occasion a large number of journalists came from different districts of the state including the General Secretary of the Sangh, Shri Vishwa Deepak Rai.
