Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel today reached village Chhak in Dharamjaygarh assembly constituency of Raigad district as part of his meet-and-greet program. On reaching here, the Chief Minister was accorded a grand welcome by the dancers with musical accompaniment. There was a lot of enthusiasm among the villagers to meet the Chief Minister. In the program, the children of Swami Atmanand School paid attention to the placard “Thank you CM sir” and “English education of the children”. He thanked the Chief Minister with a slogan like ‘Maan diya to poor children’. The Chief Minister started the meeting at Chhak by offering prayers at “Om Amriteshwar” Mahadev temple located at village Chhak (Vrindavan). He also prayed for the happiness and prosperity of the people of the state by duly anointing the water of Om Amriteshwar Mahadev. The Chief Minister planted a red sandalwood plant of religious and Ayurvedic importance in the temple premises. Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel also unveiled the statue of late Shri Chaneshram Rathia, a prominent tribal leader and former minister of the state in Vrindavan Chhak. Assembly Speaker Dr. Charandas Mahant, School Education Minister Dr. Premsai Singh Tekam, Higher Education Minister Mr. Umesh Patel, MLA Mr. Laljit Singh Rathia, MLA Mr. Chakradhar Singh Sidar, MLA Mr. Ramkumar Yadav, in other programs including meeting and meeting.
Addressing the huge public meeting present in the program, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel said that the third installment of the Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana would be delivered to the farmers’ account on October 15 before Diwali. The Chief Minister said that our children studying in Swami Atmanand School talk in fluent English. Now Sanskrit will also be taught in schools. Along with this, information about local languages will also be given, so that children stay connected with their roots.
The Chief Minister said that my three nephews are sitting on the stage, I have done politics with their father, MLA Shri Laljit Rathia, Minister Shri Umesh Patel and MLA Shri Prakash Nayak are my nephews. The officers make plans sitting in Raipur, so I also bring them with them so that they can know what is the progress in the plans. Farmer Shri Gurudram Rathia told the Chief Minister that he was getting full benefits of the schemes of the government, his loan of one lakh rupees has been waived off. Mrs. Parvati Yadav told the Chief Minister that she had sold cow dung worth 1.5 lakh. This is helping them in paying the installment of the tractor they had taken on loan. The woman of the self-help group thanked the Chief Minister and told that till now 100 quintals of cow dung has been sold through the group, the money I got, I have made mangalsutra out of it. Rural Mr. Pyarelal Rathia told the Chief Minister that by collecting tendu leaves, he got Rs.39 thousand this year as against Rs.53 thousand last year.
Chief Minister made many announcements for public welfare in village Chhak
- The construction work of the bridge between Kharsia and Chhak across the Maad river will be completed soon.
- The construction of Kharsia to bark and bark to Dharmajaygarh, bark to Gharghoda road will be started at the earliest.
- A new 32 kV power sub-station will be set up in village Siseringa.
- Kapu sub tehsil will be made full tehsil.
- The road from Ongana to Bhandari approach road will be asphalt.
- Civil Hospital Dharamjaygarh will be upgraded as well as posting of gynecologist doctor gynecologist will be done.
- 100 seater post matric girls hostel will be opened in Dharamjaygarh.

Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel while addressing the villagers said that the bad roads of Raigad district will be built soon.
The Chief Minister said that PWD Secretary Shri Siddharth Komal Pardeshi has taken stock of all the bad roads and he himself is also monitoring it continuously. Shri Pardeshi informed that from Raigarh to Dharamjaigarh, 70 kms Kharsia-Chhal-Hati-Dharamjaygarh-Pathalgaon at a cost of 130 crores, 90 kms road at a cost of 190 crores, 23 kms from Chal to Gharghoda at a cost of 48 crores, Capitalpathra- Tamanar-Milupara 26 kms at a cost of 62 crores,Sarangarh-Barmekela-Sohela road 8 kms at a cost of 8.5 crores, Barmakela-Saria-Nadigaon road 18 kms at a cost of 7.50 crores, Gharghoda to Lailunga costing 7 crores Road will be constructed for 15 kms at a cost and 3 kms from Surajgarh to Padigaon at a cost of 6 crores.
Chief Minister unveils statue of former minister Shri Chaneshram Rathia in bark
Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel today unveiled the statue of former minister Late Shri Chaneshram Rathia at Chhak (Vrindavan) in Raigad district during his meeting. Shri Rathia represented Dharamjaigarh Assembly Constituency in the Vidhan Sabha for almost 25 years from the year 1977 to 2003. He was the senior minister of many important departments including public works, animal husbandry in undivided Madhya Pradesh as well as in the state of Chhattisgarh. He was a very simple, easy and friendly personality and a well-known tribal leader. He has made significant contribution in the development of tribal development, agriculture, education, health etc. in the state.
