Announcement of pension of 10 thousand rupees every month to the descendants of Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh,

the statue of Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh will be installed in Balodabazar Collectorate Complex and Sonakhan,

the Chief Minister has given approval for the construction of the staircase up to the Kurupath Devsthal

Raipur, 10 December 2020. Chief Minister  Bhupesh Baghel today paid tribute to Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh by reaching Sonakhan in Balodabazar district on the martyrdom day. Mr. Baghel paid floral tributes at the huge martyr memorial built at Veerbhoomi Sonakhan. Chief Minister Mr. Baghel paid a courtesy visit to the descendants of Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh at his residence, got to know his condition and honored him by offering shawl and quince.
On this occasion, the Chief Minister announced to increase the pension amount of one thousand rupees being given to the descendants of Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh under the Freedom Struggle Fighter Samman Yojana by Rs. 10 thousand per month. The Chief Minister announced to establish the statue of Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh in the joint district office building complex of Sonakhan and District Headquarters Balodabazar to make the memory everlasting.
The Chief Minister also approved construction of paved stairways for easy access to Kurupath Devsthal and renovation of the houses of the descendants of the martyr. On this occasion, Tribal and Scheduled Caste Development Minister Dr. Premasai Singh Tekam, Urban Administration and Development Minister Dr. Shiv Kumar Dahria, Food Minister Mr. Amarjeet Bhagat, Women and Child Development Minister Mrs. Anila Wolf, Parliamentary Secretary and Local MLA Mr. Chandradev Rai and A large number of people from civil and tribal society, including Kasdol MLA and Parliamentary Secretary Ms. Shakuntala Sahu, were present.
