07 new police stations to be built in Dantewada district
Raipur, 31 January 2020. Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel in the general meeting held at the High School Grounds in Dantewada today, handed over many development works to the residents. The Chief Minister announced to make Barsoor as Tehsil and to give Faraspal, Palanar and Badegudara the status of Upahsil. Mr. Baghel has also announced to construct 07 new police stations in Dantewada district and a residential colony in the name of Shaheed Mahendra Karma for Naxal-affected families.
Mr. Baghel sanctioned an amount of 4 crores from the Revolving Fund to connect the unemployed with the Village Self-Employment Center, out of which two years interest-free loan will be given to the unemployed in the area. Along with this, Mr. Baghel has constructed a 50 seater Balak Ashram Hostel in Gram Panchayat Moflnar, Ghat construction and its beautification on the Dangni river in the town of Dantewada, Shop building for the displaced traders of the city, Indoor Stadium in Kuakonda Nakulanar, Mini Stadium in Barsur, Kirandul Expansion of bus stand in Shaheed Mahendra Karma Palika Bazar in Geedam, extension of residential facility in police line, construction of 40 meter bridge on Dhurli to Basanpur road, construction of Dulari and drainage wide road from Nakulnar Maharana Pratap Chowk to district office Kuakonda,
