Raipur: Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel inaugurated Raipur Municipal Corporation’s ‘Oxygen on Wheels’, ambulance service and food distribution work

Raipur. 1 May 2021. Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel today launched three important services of Raipur Municipal Corporation online. He has also provided the home access service of oxygen concentrator for patients of home isolation called ‘Oxygen on Wheels’, free ambulance service to transport Corona patients from home to hospital and hospital and free dry ration distribution for the needy. Launched. Mayor Mr. Ejaz Dhebar, Chief Secretary Mr. Amitabh Jain, Additional Chief Secretary Mr. Subrata Sahu and Raipur Municipal Corporation Commissioner Mr. Saurabh Kumar also participated in the virtual launch program.

 

Inaugurating the three services, Chief Minister Mr. Baghel said that Raipur Municipal Corporation is working with readiness and responsibility to provide facilities to the people in the corona period and lock-down. Indoor Stadium has been designed as a hospital for the treatment of Corona victims. The Chief Minister said that at a time when there is a panic of oxygen for the patients of Corona in many states, its home access facility is being started in Chhattisgarh. He congratulated the people on Labor Day and best wishes. Mr. Baghel also congratulated the Mayor Mr. Ejaz Dhebar on his inauguration program at the indoor stadium.

The distribution of food grains to poor families started today by the Raipur Municipal Corporation in a lock-down period. During the Corona period, seven thousand packets were dispatched in dry ration trains for distribution to the needy families affected by the lock-down. These will be distributed free of cost to the needy families of the municipal corporation area in coordination with local councilors and zone officials. Raipur Municipal Corporation will provide a well-equipped ambulance facility to provide quick treatment to the patients in the circumstances of the Corona period.

‘Oxygen on Wheels’ is being started by the Municipal Corporation by providing free home access oxygen facility to the Corona infected. Under this, patients living in home isolation whose oxygen saturation is less than normal and who can be assisted with oxygen concentrator, those patients will be provided oxygen concentrator through free home access service. The Home Isolation team will take regular information about the health of such patients and will return to the patient’s place of residence and get the provided contractor back.
