Raipur, 7 May 2021. The Chief Minister, Mr. Bhupesh Baghel, inaugurated the 500-bed Kovid Care Hospital by converting the warehouse of Krishi Upaj Mandi at District Headquarters Balodabazar before the review meeting of Raipur and Durg Division held at his residence office here today. This hospital is equipped with 120 oxygen beds.
The Chief Minister congratulated the residents of the district for constructing this hospital in a record 20 days. He said that the corona-infected patients in the district will get great relief from this. On this occasion, Mr. Baghel appealed to the public to strictly follow the corona guidelines.
During this time all the public representatives were also present in the program through online medium. Collector Sunil Kumar Jain said that this is the first hospital in the state in which Paddy Mandi has been converted into a hospital. Fill this challenge The work has been completed in just 20 days. The 500 bed hospital is equipped with 120 oxygen beds. The 120 bed consists of 33 beds of HDU, 36 of ICU, 51 of oxygen bed. Which are fully air conditioned. Also 380 beds have been made of General. It can be expanded further if required. Special care has been taken of all the facilities in the hospital. Which will make the patient feel like home. It is a state-of-the-art hospital in the district. Which will bring great relief to the patients infected with corona. It will be operated by the Health Department. This mandi godown will be housed in public hospitals, industries, District Mineral Trust Fund, This has been changed with the cooperation of the public and district administration. Teams of 13 doctors are stationed here.
