Republic Day celebrated with dignity in Bastar
Congratulations and best wishes to Republicans on Republic Day
Raipur, 26 January 2021. Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel hoisted the flag at a function organized at Lalbagh in Jagdalpur on the occasion of 72nd Republic Day. On this occasion, he congratulated the people of the Republic Day and best wishes. The Chief Minister released colorful balloons symbolizing joy and gaiety. On the Republic Day, Chief Minister Mr. Baghel gave a message to the people regarding the works, policies and plans and achievements being made by the state government for the continuous development of the state. Republic Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm in Bastar Zone.
On the
occasion, the Chief Minister met the freedom fighters and the families of the martyrs, Chief Minister Mr. Baghel met the wife of freedom fighters late Shri Ram Akshaywar Sharma, Mrs. Savitri Devi Sharma, Padmashree Mr. Dharampal Saini and members of the martyr family and asked for their well-being.
On the occasion of Republic Day, the Chief Minister honored Corona Warriors of Bastar and 247 officers and employees for their outstanding work. In view of the transition of Kovid-19 infection, the stage meeting arrangement, physical distancing at the venue was followed.
Corona Warriors honored –
Along with this, he was honored by providing citation and shield for the work done by officers and employees of other departments of administration during the Corona period. Shivanarayan Pandey and Lakeshwar Khudram were honored with a citation and a shield for the Halbi adaptation of the state song Arpa Parry in a special Halbi Gondi for Corona awareness. The district administration expressed its gratitude to media personnel during the Corona Crisis for continuously keeping the public updated through the news and to encourage the rescue of Corona.
The program was attended by MP Deepak Badge, Chairman of Handicraft Development Board Mr. Chandan Kashyap, Chitrakote MLA Mr. Rajman Benzam, Mayor Mrs. Saphira Sahu, Chairman Mrs. Kavita Sahu along with the public representative of the area, Commissioner Mr. GR Churendra, Inspector General of Police Mr. P. Sundararaj, Chief Conservator of Forests Mr. Mohammad Shahid, senior officers of CRPF, District and Sessions Judges, including several public representatives and dignitaries were present.
