announced the general meeting of Govindpur in Kanker district

Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel while addressing the general meeting held at the high school ground of Govindpur in Kanker, headquarter of Kanker district on Chherchhera festival today, made several important announcements for the development of the area at the request of public and public representatives. He announced to give Tehsil status to Sub Tehsil Korar of Bhunpratappur Tehsil and Sub Tehsil Sarona of Narharpur Tehsil of the district, and to give Upah Tehsil status to Kodakursa and Durgukdal Development Block, Badgaon under Koelibeda Development Block.
The Chief Minister said that a high-level bridge will be constructed on the Kotri river flowing between Jadekursa to Kondruz and a survey will be made for the canal construction from Dudhwa Dam to Gangrel. He sanctioned Rs. 05 lakh each for the construction of all the ghotul of the district and for Devguri. Also, the establishment of the statue of the martyr Gundadhur at Albelapara Chouk in Kanker, 220 KV in Kanker district at a cost of Rs 83 crore. Approval of Rs. 24 crore for establishment of sub-center, widening of national highway passing through Kanker city, sanction of Rs. 13 crore for construction of 04 nos. Culvert in Kanker-Bhanupratappur-Sambalpur road, OPD from District Mineral Trust Fund at Kanker District Hospital , Sanctioned Rs 7 crore for construction of separate wing for ICU and Emergency ward.
Shri Baghel sanctioned 4 crores 38 lakhs for the 3 km approach road from Pirhapala to Dhanatulsi, 3 crore 75 lakhs for the 5 km access road from Kurishtikur, Rs one crore 17 lakh for beautification of Shitalapara Pond in Kanker Nagar Approval, announced Rs 80 lakh for solid waste management at district headquarters Kanker and Rs 63 lakh for construction works from District Mineral Trust Fund. Announced to name Sarangpal Pulia after the late Shri Atmaram Dhurva and to construct a Rs 20 lakh community building in Govindpur.
Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel, on the request of local MLA Mr. Manoj Mandavi for Bhanupratappur assembly constituency, approved the construction of a high-level bridge across the Kotri river flowing between Jadekursa to Kondruj. Establishment of Swami Atmanand Excellent English Medium School at Government Higher Secondary School Bhanupratappur, 15 km of Bhanupratappur-Sambalpur State Road at a cost of Rs 20 crores. Upgradation and strengthening of road, approval for upgrading and strengthening of 9 km road from Bhanupratappur to Durgukondal, Pakhanjur-Bande road at a cost of Rs 20 crore, Rs 14 crore sanctioned for 7.50 km route from Khairkhera to Gottitola under Charama development block From Petechua 8 km. Approval of 11 crore including road bridge and culvert,
Establishment of Swami Atmanand Excellent English Medium School in Government Girls Higher Secondary School, Antagarh under Assembly Constituency Antagarh, Approval of 2 crores from District Mineral Trust Fund for various construction works, repair of Veer Shaheed Gandsingh memorial building in Pakhanjur and construction of boundary wall 10 Lakh approved.
