Raipur, 21 May 2022.Justice Schemes – Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh BaghelChief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel, in a program organized at his residence office on the death anniversary of former Prime Minister Bharat Ratna Late Shri Rajiv Gandhi, gave 1804 crore 50 lakhs to more than 26 lakh 68 thousand farmers, landless agricultural labourers, livestock farmers and women belonging to the group of Chhattisgarh state. The Chief Minister further said that during the last three years, Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana, Godhan Nyay Yojana, Rajiv Gandhi Grameen Bhumiless Krishi Mazdoor Nyay Yojana, Suraji Gaon Yojana, Narva-Garwa-Ghurwa- Steps are being taken on a large scale through many schemes and programs like Bari program, Mahatma Gandhi Rural Industrial Park, purchase of 65 types of minor forest produce on support price, increase in tendu leaf collection rate, establishment of C-Mart. We are constantly expanding each of our plans, making it more and more effective.
The Chief Minister said that while expanding the Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana, we have included farmers doing plantation of major Kharif crops, horticulture crops and plantation including Kodo, Kutki, Ragi. The Chief Minister said that under this scheme, a subsidy of Rs.1720 crore 11 lakh has been given as the first installment this year. This year the farmers of the state will be given input subsidy of about Rs.6900 crores.

On this occasion, the Chief Minister released Rs 71 crore 8 lakh 4 thousand as the first installment of the year 2022-23 to 3 lakh 55 thousand 402 beneficiaries under the Rajiv Gandhi Grameen Bhumiless Krishi Mazdoor Nyay Yojana and said that now under the scheme The annual assistance amount has been increased from Rs.6 thousand to Rs.7 thousand. He transferred a total of 13 crore 31 lakh rupees to cow dung vendors, Gauthan committees and women self-help groups under Godhan Nyay Yojana. Out of this, Rs 11 crore 14 lakh was transferred to Gauthan committees and women’s groups and Rs 2 crore 17 lakh was transferred to the collectors. So far, a total dividend of Rs 110 crore has been paid and paid to self-help groups and Gauthan committees. Similarly, a total amount of Rs 140.71 crore has been released to the beneficiaries for the purchase of cow dung.
Agriculture and Water Resources Minister Shri Ravindra Choubey, Revenue Minister Shri Jaisingh Agrawal also addressed this program through video conferencing. He said that the Chhattisgarh government under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel was working for the upliftment of all sections of the society. He said that due to the public friendly policies of the government, prosperity and change is visible in all sections. The Agriculture Minister said that in the last three years, the Chhattisgarh government has deposited about one lakh crore rupees in the accounts of farmers, landless laborers, forest produce collectors and beneficiaries of Godhan Nyay Yojana. During the program, Agriculture Production Commissioner Dr. Kamalpreet gave information about Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana, Godhan Nyay Yojana and Landless Krishi Mazdoor Nyay Yojana through a presentation.
Adviser to the Chief Minister Mr. Pradeep Sharma, Chief Secretary Mr. Amitabh Jain, Additional Chief Secretary Mr. Subrata Sahu, Agriculture Production Commissioner Dr. Kamalpreet Singh, Tribal Welfare Department Secretary Mr. DD Singh, Revenue Secretary Mr. N.N.Akka Agriculture Secretary Dr. S. Bharathidasan, Agriculture Director Shri Yashwant Kumar and other senior officers were present. In this program, ministers, parliamentary secretaries, legislators, other public representatives, farmers, laborers, women of the group and rural people from all the districts participated online.
It is worth mentioning that under the Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana, in the last two years, 11 thousand 180 crore rupees have been paid to the farmers of the state. Under the scheme, including the amount of first installment released today and the amount given to sugarcane growers, this amount of input subsidy has become 13 thousand 22 crore 45 lakh. Similarly, a sum of Rs 250 crore 40 lakh has been paid to cow dung vendors, Gauthan committees and women’s groups, including those released today under the Godhan Nyay Yojana.
