Inauguration of four bridges constructed at a cost of about 8 crores on four routes in the district including Lakhanpur police station building constructed at a cost of Rs 50 lakhs
Raipur, 14 December 2020. Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel today inaugurated and performed Bhoomi Pujan of 110 different construction and development works costing Rs. 633 crore 88 lakh in the program organized at the Rajiv Gandhi Government Post Graduate College Ground in Ambikapur, headquarters of Surguja district. Shri Baghel inaugurated 79 works of Rs 559 crore 84 lakh and 31 works costing Rs 74 crore 04 lakh.
Among the works performed by the Chief Minister Mr. Baghel, Ambikapur Darima Nawanagar road construction (main stretch of 36 kilometers up to the airstrip and block headquarters) to be built at a cost of Rs 82 crore, widening of Ambikapur to Darima road at a cost of about Rs 43 crore. And upgradation work, construction of 20 km of road including bridge from Sitapur to Harramarg in Sitapur at a cost of about Rs 27 crore, solar based tap water scheme in 124 habitations at a cost of about Rs 26 crore and cost of about Rs 19 crore 11 km of road construction work including bridge-culvert from Chiranga to Ghantadahi Govindpur in Sitapur.
The works that the Chief Minister inaugurated included the newly constructed bridge from Narmadapur-Carrabel Road to Udumkela-Amapara Road on Ratakhar River in Sitapur area at a cost of about Rs 4 crore, Barnai on Kusu to Pratappur road in Lundra area at a cost of Rs 2 crore. Bridge constructed on river Chulhut river on Bilaspur road to Gumagarakla road in Ambikapur area at a cost of Rs 1 crore, bridge constructed on Bhukurama river in Ambikapur area at a cost of Rs 1 crore and Rs 50 lakh in Ambikapur area by Chhattisgarh Police Housing Corporation Lakhanpur police station building constructed at a cost of Rs.
On this occasion, the Minister of Panchayat and Rural Development, Shri T.S. Singhdev, School Education Minister Dr. Premasay Singh Tekam, Food Minister Mr. Amarjeet Bhagat, Urban Administration Minister Dr. Shiv Kumar Dahria, Higher Education Minister Mr. Umesh Patel, Parliamentary Secretary Mr. Chintamani Maharaj, Sarguja Area Tribal Development Authority Vice President Mr. Jupiter Singh, State Food and Civil Supplies Corporation Chairman Mr. Ram Gopal Agrawal was also present.
