Raipur, 16 April 2022. Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel made an important announcement at his residence office today to make Khairagarh-Chhuikhadan-Gandai a district. Along with this, the Chief Minister also announced to give the status of full tehsil to Salhewara and sub-tehsil to Jalbandha.
A large number of people, including newly elected MLA Smt. Yashoda Verma, had reached the Chief Minister’s residence office to show gratitude on the victory of Khairagarh Assembly. Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel congratulated and congratulated Mrs. Verma for achieving a brilliant victory in the Khairagarh Vidhan Sabha by-election. Congratulating and wishing the people of Khairagarh on this occasion, he said that the mandate has put its stamp on the work done by the Chhattisgarh government in the last three and a half years. He said that more than 56 thousand votes have been received in this election as compared to the last election. All this has been possible due to the work of the government and the trust of the people. The Chief Minister said that the MP Shri Rahul Gandhi had said after the victory in the assembly elections that the loan waiver of farmers is to be done within 10 days. But we completed it within 2 hours. We had promised to make Khairagarh a district within 24 hours. We have accomplished this within three hours of Smt. Yashoda Verma getting elected as MLA.
The Chief Minister said that the victory in Khairagarh by-election is a victory for the welfare policies and programs of the Chhattisgarh government. The people have once again expressed their faith in the policies and programs of the government by getting a resounding victory. Expressing gratitude to the voters of Khairagarh on this occasion, the Chief Minister expressed hope that MLA Mrs. Verma would fulfill the responsibility of a public representative for the development of Khairagarh area and public.
On the victory in Khairagarh Vidhan Sabha by-election, the Chief Minister invited Agriculture Minister Shri Ravindra Choubey, Urban Administration Minister Dr. Shivkumar Dahria, MLA Shri Mohan Markam, newly elected MLA Smt. Yashoda Verma, Chairman of Chhattisgarh Youth Commission Shri Jitendra Mudaliar, Chairman of Chhattisgarh Mineral Corporation Shri. Greeting Girish Devangan sweetly.
Revenue Secretary Shri Neelam Namdev Ekka informed that as per the announcement of the Chief Minister, the process of construction of Khairagarh-Chhuikhadan-Gandai district has been started by the Revenue Department.
