Raipur, 10 July 2021. Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel reached Rampur village in Shimla district of Himachal Pradesh today and paid his humble tribute to former Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Late Shri Virbhadra Singh by laying a wreath on his body. Shri Baghel met the family members of Late Shri Singh and expressed his condolences.
Paying tribute to Late Shri Virbhadra Singh, Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel said that as Union Minister and six times as Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh, he made a remarkable contribution in the development of the country and the state. His death is an irreparable loss to the Congress party including Himachal Pradesh. In his death we have lost one of our senior leaders forever. Shri Baghel said that Late Shri Virbhadra Singh also had close relation with Chhattisgarh. He had come to the program of Bhilai Steel Plant as the Union Steel Minister. We all know him as a very friendly person. Shri Baghel also recalled the memoirs related to Late Shri Virbhadra Singh on this occasion.
